MTA Problem

When I try to select the directory where GTA3 is installed, MTA would crash. So I did what it said on the FAQ and I altered the mta.ini file accordingly.

Is that ok? I don't have GTA Vice City installed on my computer. I am running GTA3 with a v1.1 No-CD patch.

But now I get an error message when I press "Start Game". I get a message saying, "You are running a modified version of the MTA client. Please reinstall."

Any ideas?
