ParadoxTR Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Why is my server loading too slow and sometimes not filling up?
MTA Team Lpsd Posted February 28, 2017 MTA Team Posted February 28, 2017 Who hosts your server? What bandwidth does the server have? Do other players experience this issue? Some extra information would be nice, we aren't magic
ParadoxTR Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 All players are having this problem. Host nitrado 22slot 2gb ram. Where can I learn my server bandwidth?
MTA Team Lpsd Posted February 28, 2017 MTA Team Posted February 28, 2017 (edited) You'd have to contact your host and find out. You could also ask them for your server usage stats on bandwidth, RAM and CPU. Also, you can try using the in-game performance browser to see how much CPU and RAM each resource is using on your server. You can start this with 'start ipb' edit: Are you using any custom script to handle downloading resources? Edited February 28, 2017 by LopSided_
ParadoxTR Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 Yes I using downloadFile. I make httpdownloadurl how can I do?
MTA Team Lpsd Posted February 28, 2017 MTA Team Posted February 28, 2017 Why you are using downloadFile? Also if the files/resources are on the same server as the MTA server, you don't need httpdownloadurl.
ParadoxTR Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 I useing downloadfile because total 620mb.(cars,obje etc.)
MTA Team Lpsd Posted February 28, 2017 MTA Team Posted February 28, 2017 Okay. But why are you using httpdownloadurl?
MTA Team Lpsd Posted February 28, 2017 MTA Team Posted February 28, 2017 That's not what httpdownloadurl is for, I doubt it's making anything faster. httpdownloadurl is to specify an external URL (seperate from the MTA server) to download files from. If anything, it's going to cause you problems if you're just linking back to the same server. Remove httpdownloadurl from your mtaserver.conf
Captain Cody Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Actually, if you specify httpdownloadurl in the MTA config it will greatly speed up download if the download server linked contains the proper files, MTAs default downloader is extremely slow.

More like the internal webserver is very basic.
Adolfram Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 (edited) nginx ftw you're free to use external webserver and as @CodyJ(L) said it may improve your speed. check /ipb ig to see cpu and ram usage that might be the trouble. contact to your host for your bw stats and check them out, might be a dos attack or something Edited March 1, 2017 by Adolfram

Well, I thank the Wiki for making this clear at first glance (not)
