MTA 1.5.2 (9928) - Main Menu Freeze

Lukas2438

Question

Hello folks,

since I reinstalled my whole computer (Windows 7 of course) Multi Theft Auto won't run like it does years (or hours) ago, doesn't matter if I install GTA San Andreas from my rusty old DVD (EU 1.00) or using the Steam Release.

Problem is like this:
Starting the "Multi Theft Auto.exe" with admin privileges, waiting 'till MTA says that I should stop playing with myself ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), the GTA SA logo screen appears and when fading out it starts to fade in the main menu layers - and boom! Game's freezing, the only opportunity to stop the process is to kill himself using my also rusty task manager.

Already tried deleting the gta_sa.set (which is still removed), run the MTADiag.exe (see below) and would do anything to play my dearly beloved game again. ( ͡; ͜ʖ ͡; )

Log of MTADiag.exe: https://pastebin.mtasa.com/400416514
DumpFile after pressing LCtrl & RCtrl simultaneously: http://upload.mtasa.com/u/231274041/client_1.5.2-release-9928.0.000_core_00019806_5_DSMb_00000000_0000_FFF_B92DC_20161002_1631.zip_

Hello again,

I already tried to install MTA 1.4 and/or 1.3.5 to test if the problem happens again, and finally it does.

Also found an interesting line in the CEGUI.log file:
>> (Error) Exception: WidgetLookFeel::getImagerySection - unknown imagery section 'normal' in look 'CGUI/ScrollablePane' <<

Maybe this can help identifying my issue.

PROBLEM SOLVED - thread can be closed

For all those with similar problems in Main Menu, it could be the following:
It's an issue that occur when you're using the "Nahimic Audio Enhancer 2" Software (e.g. for MSI Mainboards and Notebooks) in the background. After terminating the software you should be able to play the game without any crashes. Furthermore this issue will not occur when using an audio device that doesn't support the Nahimic 2 Software (like my Creative SoundBlaster Tactic3D Headset).

Special thanks to an MTA DevTeam member. ;)
