I've got some questions about this mod

I just won an auction for a GTA:VC game for PC. I've heard some stuff about this mod, like there is no animation, you just kind of "slide" around. Is this still true? I mainly bought the game just so i could play this online.

If anyone would like to list some pros and cons about this mod i'd really appreciate it.

there are animations for moving around, the first huge release had "south park walking" but there is animation now. not all animations work, but enough. even without any animations this mod would still be fun.
