goodiewarrior Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Hey, so look at this: table = { } table[something] = "storing data" How can I do this within the table? I'm terrible with tables. Would it be something like this? table = { something = "storing data", }
Walid Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 it can be like this table = { something = "storing data", } or table = { ["something"] = "storing data", } For more information check my Tuto : Lua Tables Do not yield your back to your enemy, might feel something strange in your ass. LabiVila Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 You can do that by writing: table.insert (table, {something = "storing data"}) and you can access it by: for _,v in ipairs (table) do outputChatBox (v.something) --would output 'storing data' end
