Guest
Hi Lads, Cheers for the update for the server, our ClanPlanet servers have been taking a bit of a slap with the memory jumping. Oh well, least thats sorted. Just got a quick question: Is there a command line for the servers to run? For example (CS:Source) -console -game cstrike -secure +ip 217.112.92.95 -port 27015 +maxplayers 12 +map de_dust Link to comment
eAi
If you run it with -help you'll see the options There are also some hidden options that override the config ones, these are --map --name --players --port --ase --pass. Values are the same as the config ones. eAi Link to comment
Guest
Hi Eai, When I run that I just get : ERROR: Unable to bind to the socket. Check that no other instances of MTAServer. exe are running and try again. Unable to start server. MTA Stunt Server - 92.184 - 23:08:29.20 MTA Server (Patch 1) for MTA 0.5 Link to comment

Guest
Ok another question concerning the cmd line.. is there one for IP by chance which you may have forgotten to add? Link to comment
Mike
There are also some hidden options that override the config ones, these are --map --name --players --port --ase --pass. You really should make these more well known. They're gonna be so useful for me for setting up a server for a quick gangwar etc. Link to comment
eAi
No, there isn't one for IP. If you PM your email I'll send you a server with this added. These commands are used by the in-client server, and were not designed to be used by anyone else - thats why they aren't documented. Of course, you're welcome to use them. If people find they're useful, I'll add some more and put them in the help. eAi Link to comment
Guest
Ah in the end I just copied the config file 5 times accross multiple servers and change the IP in each one. But hey these command lines are very helpful for me (server company) and prob many more so maybe a small feature to advance in the next version/s? Cheers for your help Link to comment
eAi
I'll add it to the todo list for patch 2 (assuming it happens). eAi Link to comment
