MTA-GTa-VC and GTA3 crashes straight away

hi im on windows xp i have the original game both i installed usin daemontools and they both run fine i installed in english i installed mta and tried to play online but wen u click start game (VC or GTA3) its crashes straight away(the game not mta) ive tried with and with outa patches and ive searched the forum for help but still nothing plz help.

Looks like you could have a virus or somthing... Try searching for that dll on your computer "g4f31phcwdp12cl.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll"

cheers i dun a search and found it in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 i cnt delete itwot du suggest?

if the system32 file is corrupted, then use the expand command with the os disk to uncompress the file from the disk (it would be the same name, just with ".dl_" instead of ".dll"

heheh, ill explain it more detailed.

-put the xp disk in

-reboot

-go to recovery console

-go to the i386 directory in the cd drive

-type in "expand name_of_compressed_file c:/windows/system32/name_of_file

where name_of_compressed_file is the name of the file with an underscore instead of the last letter in the file extension
