jesipoo1234 Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 CCW, I want to play MTA but it's not working, I've already posted 3 topics and you ignored them... This is the DXDiag. https://pastebin.mtasa.com/640570857
0 MTA Team ccw Posted November 22, 2015 MTA Team Posted November 22, 2015 Do this: 1) Start MTA 2) Settings->Advanced->Debug setting->#0000 Lua trace 3) Get to the place it freezes 4) Hold both right CTRL and left CTRL 5) MTA should crash 6) Zip up C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas 1.5\dumps and upload to: http://upload.mtasa.com/
0 jesipoo1234 Posted November 22, 2015 Author Posted November 22, 2015 I can't, because whenever the screen appears, it freezes. I can't press anything, it crashed immediately. I tried re installing several times and I also tried re installing Grand Theft Auto for 3 times. Btw, GTA works perfectly fine.
0 MTA Team ccw Posted November 22, 2015 MTA Team Posted November 22, 2015 So it doesn't freeze on Quick Connect? Explain exactly what the problem is, with screenshots if possible.
0 jesipoo1234 Posted November 22, 2015 Author Posted November 22, 2015 It freezes on that page, 3 seconds after I've ran open the game. (This is not my picture, found it on google)
0 MTA Team ccw Posted November 22, 2015 MTA Team Posted November 22, 2015 You forgot the link, but I assume you mean the Main Menu. Do this: 1) Download https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/files/debug.txt (Right click on link and select 'Save as..') 2) Move debug.txt into C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas 1.5\ 3) Start MTA 4) When it freezes, hold both right CTRL AND left CTRL 5) MTA should crash 6) Zip up C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas 1.5\dumps and upload to: http://upload.mtasa.com/ If the above fails to work as described, then follow the instructions here: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Su ... ss_Monitor
0 jesipoo1234 Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 http://upload.mtasa.com/u/684404008/dumps.zip_ Yes, I forgot the link, but it is the main menu. Also, it didn't crash when I pressed CTRL's
0 MTA Team ccw Posted November 23, 2015 MTA Team Posted November 23, 2015 Does this file exist? C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas 1.5\debug.txt Did you hold both left & right CTRL keys for a long time?
0 jesipoo1234 Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 There's no file in this directory C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas 1.5\debug.txt I just put in the txt file in MTA San Andreas 1.5, when I entered MTA, it completely froze, it won't respond and when I go on task manager it says "Not responding", therefor that might be the reason that it didn't crash. I didn't leave them pressed for a long time, I just tapped them once.
0 MTA Team ccw Posted November 23, 2015 MTA Team Posted November 23, 2015 C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas 1.5\debug.txt is correct. Do this: 1) Start MTA 2) When it freezes, hold both right CTRL AND left CTRL 3) Slowly count to 1000 4) Let go of right CTRL AND left CTRL
0 jesipoo1234 Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 1000? Are you sure? Do you mean 100?
0 MTA Team ccw Posted November 23, 2015 MTA Team Posted November 23, 2015 MTA should crash after a few seconds of holding down both left CTRL AND right CTRL If it does crash, then Zip up C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas 1.5\dumps and upload to: http://upload.mtasa.com/ If it does not crash, then follow the instructions here: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Su ... ss_Monitor
0 jesipoo1234 Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 http://upload.mtasa.com/u/710941098/Logfile.PML_ There you go
0 MTA Team ccw Posted November 23, 2015 MTA Team Posted November 23, 2015 Looks like a problem in wintrust.dll which is a Microsoft module. How do you quit MTA when it freezes?
0 jesipoo1234 Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 I use CTRL, ALT and delete and use end task.
0 MTA Team ccw Posted November 24, 2015 MTA Team Posted November 24, 2015 Apply this patch: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/mtasa-1.5.1-rc ... 151124.exe and try MTA again. If it still freezes, follow these instructions again: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Su ... ss_Monitor
0 jesipoo1234 Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 It took 3 seconds more to freeze, it lasted a bit longer this time. But still froze http://upload.mtasa.com/u/415237710/Logfile.PML_
0 MTA Team ccw Posted November 24, 2015 MTA Team Posted November 24, 2015 Either something is interfering with MTA, or Windows has a dodgy file somewhere. Try this: 1) Run command prompt as administrator: Start->All programs->Accessories->Right click on 'Command prompt' and select 'Run as administrator' 2) And enter the following command: sfc /scannow If that shows no problems, try disabling AVG.
0 jesipoo1234 Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 I disabled my firewall & AVG and it worked. Thanks dude.
