MTA won't start? "Incompatibility with 64-bit windows"

Hey, I've been having this issue with MTA for a while and I've tried everything and nothing works.

Malware can cause this. Do a full anti-virus scan

Done this and uninstalled/reinstalled but still seeing the same error message.

Find C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas\ in Windows Explorer, and double click on proxy_sa.exe

Do you get the same error?

If yes, then also try gta_sa.exe

Please download, extract and run MTADiag and follow the instructions.

Press 'n' when asked.

Post any Pastebin URL MTADiag gives you.

Thanks. The GTA_SA.EXE file is incorrect. Try this:

1) Find C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas in Windows Explorer

2) Delete GTA_SA.EXE

3) Download the MTA installer from https://www.multitheftauto.com/ and run

• (The installer should generate the correct gta_sa.exe for you to use.)

If the installer fails to generate a valid gta_sa.exe, then please upload gta-sa.exe for me to check.

Can I ask where you got that GTA_SA.EXE from?
