Bonsai Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Hey Peeps, Why doesn't onClientChatMessage provide the responsible resource/element? The serverside version onChatMessage does. https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/On ... hatMessage https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/OnChatMessage Bonsai
MTA Team botder Posted January 16, 2015 MTA Team Posted January 16, 2015 Maybe some resources don't exist clientside (only the running ones)? GitHub: Debug Console • MTA-Discord Relay Scripting: How to draw a line chart with DirectX functions? • Doppler Effect in MTA • Get the client's FPS • Customizable Blur Shader
Bonsai Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Okay, meanwhile I found a way to achieve what I wanted, by cancelling the players chat in "onPlayerChat" event. So now, everything that still goes through "onClientChatMessage" comes from a resource or MTA itself. But I'm still wondering why it doesn't provide a real source instead of just root. Bonsai.
