How to be a language board moderator?

I want to know to to be a language board moderator.So can anyone tell me?

when a language section is in need of a moderator for that specific section, they make a thread about it, and if you want to be in part of the vote, you can post on that topic and then mta moderators choose the person who mostly got biggest number of votes(but sometimes they even choose by person's knowledge and forum activity).
