-.Paradox.-
Hello, Is it possible to transfer my 1.3.5 server's database from the current version to 1.4? By database i mean where players accounts are stored with element datas, money etc... And if it possible a little help telling how would be appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment
Chaos
Yep, just copy internal.db and replace it. Link to comment
Mr_Moose
That should work theoretically but don't forget to take a backup, just in case it fails. Link to comment
-.Paradox.-
I don't think that's safe either.. Link to comment
Mr_Moose
You may also try letting the 1.4 server files overwrite the old ones, make sure you remove log files and resources from the 1.4 server to make sure that stuff won't be overwritten, make a backup and try on that one to make sure it's safe. Large scale servers will always deal with this type of issues so copying everything and try in small scale first is often the best solution. Databases can easy be viewed and managed with applications like this one: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/?source=recommended Link to comment
MIKI785
How i update my servers (that are on linux) is that i simply replace just the .so libraries and mta-server that are in the main package, that's all you need. No need to replace any configs, .db files or anything like that. Link to comment

No need to replace any configs, .db files or anything like that. Download just the 1.4 server and let those files overwrite your old 1.3.* server. I tried that method on Linux but there is a small risk of failure so make a backup of your current server and try on that one to verify that it works before overwriting important files.
