Guest Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Hello, I've a problem when i play mta, i start a server and join it then a friend (in LAN) join the server, so it works fine ... i can kill him but when he kill me his PC reboot i really don't understand !? Do u know this kind of problem ?
orappa Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Does this happen every time? I sometimes get a crash with GTA3:MTA when I die or kill someone else, but only occasionally. What happens is that XP is set by default to restart every time it encounters an exception error (to prevent newbies from seeing the scary messages). This can be switched off in the System control panel applet.
Slothman Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 that would be pure torture, every kill you get is a crash for you. i had a smilar problem with another mod (that cool zombie one) where every time i got in a car i would reboot. i tried everything, reinstalling every conceivable driver, vice city, the mod, but the only thing that did solve the problem was an os reisntall

Do u know this kind of problem ? Try tellin him to get all the latest updates for his pc (such as drivers). Maybe its a problem with that?
