MTA won't start up

fizzacles

Question

I've solved the problem, no help needed anymore!

I've fixed the problems listed below.

Hi.

My MTA doesn't seem to want to start up. I've always been able to play MTA on my old computer (windows 7), but on my new laptop (windows 8.1), it doesn't want to start up.

Now, I've followed steps from this topic: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtopic.php?f=104&t=31668

1. Downloaded and ran MTADiag (which launched properly) and at first, got told that DirectX wasn't up to date. So, I downloaded the most recent version through MTADiag, but the problem persisted.

2. Downloaded the most recent MTA version, also through MTADiag. Again, the problem persisted.

After all that, I got told to include the MTADiag Log from pastebin in this post, so here it is: http://pastebin.mtasa.com/776596942

I haven't got a clue on how to make this work. Oh, and my GTA works just fine, so it's unlikely to be a problem within the original GTA.

Edit: I just found out my mouse isn't working when I play GTA. Did some research on this, it's called the mouse bug. Haven't found a solution to this yet though, and neither do I know if this would affect MTA, so if it does, please let me know.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
