kroftz Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Hi there, i'm running a DayZ server but for some reason i can't change the gamemode name to DayZ, it stays at MTA SA. I already changed the addons file to set the gamemode name to DayZ but nope, nothing happens! If someone can help me i would appreciate alot, thanks!
12p Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Make sure you're admin. Open up console (F8). Type "setgame DayZ" there, without the quotes. GREAT. Another DayZ.
kroftz Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Dude don't hate me, i just want to have fun with my clan. Let me see if it works EDIT: It worked at the first time, then i restarted it and it's gone. Am i supposed to do this every time i start my server? That's cheap.
12p Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Well, that's the quick, easy solution indeed And it's weird the server doesn't take the gamemode name automatically. Are you running mapmanager resource? If you're not, that's the problem. Otherwise...
