hstanley
Hi guys, I tried to edit the object ID: 3981 (this is the part of the tunnel under the townhall in LS). My problem would be the next: I made tha changes what I wanted, but when I export it to DFF (I use KAM's script and 3dsmax) the light effects and other effects disappear. Could somebody to help me to solve this problem or could somebody make me this? Thank you for your help! Regards, Stanley. P.S.: a picture of my problem The original part (this is where I stand) has a red light effect, and the other part, what I made (towards I look) hasn't. Link to comment
hstanley
I made the collision file and it solved my problem. Use it if you are new in modelling. Thank you Bussy-E! https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtopic.php?f=148&t=42322&p=688097&hilit=3ds+max#p688097 Link to comment
hstanley
Hello, I've got a problem again. I want to edit a part of the tunnel under the townhall of LS. There is a ramp with a door there. I want to edit this to make a garage there. I did the modellig part but I really don't know how to make the the textures of the new polygons to match to the original parts' texture. I tried a lot of texture settings, but unfortunatelly I don't know how to make it. I attached a pic about my problem. http://www.kephost.com/view3.php?filename=a1_2014_5_8_m6d0bls9mi.png I hope you understand what is my problem. So what texture setting do I need to use to fix the texture to the polygon? Thank you for your help! Regards, Stanley. Link to comment
Woovie
You need to UVW Unwrap the face and realign it with the texture. I am not a modeling expert by any means and I have dealt with this issue myself before as well. Add the UVW Unwrap modifier to your model and play with it a bit. It's not the easiest shit to figure out, I still have little to no grasp of how to work it properly Link to comment
