EricStRoch
Hi all, I already mapped with MTA 1.04, in 2010, using an XP computer. 4 years later, I want to map again and I installed MTA 1.3.5 on my WIN7 computer. I received map files from a game server, in order to analyse them, and to connect my new map creations to those maps. I open MTA, and click on "Map editor" MTA-SA opens correctly. I then press the 'f' key in order to have access to icons. My firt problem is that when I click on the 'open' icon, I can't navigate between folders. Is it normal ? Map files must then be located on a specific place on computer. And that's my second problem : I can't find that folder. Wherever I copy the received map files, I can't see them in MTA open screen. My third question is I received .map and .cmap files. What the difference between both ? Could you please help me ? Thanks a lot in advance ! Eric - Belgium Link to comment

Hi all,
I already mapped with MTA 1.04, in 2010, using an XP computer.
4 years later, I want to map again and I installed MTA 1.3.5 on my WIN7 computer.
I received map files from a game server, in order to analyse them, and to connect my new map creations to those maps.
I open MTA, and click on "Map editor"
MTA-SA opens correctly.
