Hello there,

My problem with optimus is that when i start game at fullscreen it just blinking black/desktop and shows me error direct3d createdevice error: 8876086a, when i try start in window mode it starts but its looks like this:

Last version which works for me well was: mtasa-1.3.5-rc-6078-20140119.

My notebook specs:

Asus K53SV

System Win 7 x64

RAM 4gb ddr3

CPU Intel® Core i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz

Graphic: nvidia GT540M 2gb

This one works well game start at full screen without problem(but servers i play wont let me in i need update first)

We really have NO idea why/how NV Optimus is breaking. It's really just a massive piece of shit. I don't know what to tell you beyond stick to a version that works.

I was able to play the latest version by doing the AA option OFF, but A Filtering MAXED.

then Woovie came with link to this thread, i installed the installer from this thread, it installed perfectly, then in the game, when i tried to join the server, notice came that I SHOULD UPDATE MY MTA to join this server, i updated it, same thing happens again..

now im still playing with AA off, and im getting FPS drops, which i didnt have during AA MAXED.

any more help?

You are having to use those graphics options because it's running on your CPU's GPU. We cannot fix Optimus alone. If you want this fixed, voice yourself in the NVidia thread.

Hello, can't I run MTA 1.4 with optimus? 1.3 only working with the links you gave up. Note that I have computer.

Hello, actually I have talked with Nvidia support and their last update (337) supports MTA, I have installed it, me and other 2 friends and it worked for us.
