What do you mean by "recovering account"?

I think he means account recovery, his point is he wants to add 'account recovery' option to his login panel, actually there are thousands of ways to create this option, set some security question(s) on registration for example.

If you are using the MTA account system, then you can easily make this with setAccountData/getAccountData.
