Scales Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 "The instruction at 0x77d43632 referenced memory at 0x00000024. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program." I get the following message when trying to launch MTA. I've already run MTAdiag at the following: http://pastebin.mtasa.com/696845147 Not really sure what to do further here. Thanks ahead of time!
0 MTA Team ccw Posted December 31, 2013 MTA Team Posted December 31, 2013 Ok. Please locate the MTA install directroy and zip up the files from this directory: MTA\dumps\public\ Then upload them here: http://upload.mtasa.com/ and give the link.
0 Scales Posted December 31, 2013 Author Posted December 31, 2013 I'd do that, but that folder doesn't seem to exist for me.
0 MTA Team ccw Posted December 31, 2013 MTA Team Posted December 31, 2013 Anything at all in this directory? C:\Â \Games\MTA\MTA\MTA\dumps\
0 Scales Posted December 31, 2013 Author Posted December 31, 2013 A simple private folder is there: http://upload.mtasa.com/u/242345272/private.rar_
0 MTA Team ccw Posted December 31, 2013 MTA Team Posted December 31, 2013 Thanks for that. Please tell me the full install MTA install path. I need to know the exact characters as shown in Windows Explorer.
0 Scales Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 Sorry for the late reply. It's a rather long one. Computer > Local Disk (C:) > > Games > MTA > MTA (The space is a blank named folder using alt code+255)
0 Scales Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 Ohp! That was it, the alt code was messing up the pathing. Thanks though! I love the tech support here.
0 NoNeMeRcY Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I have the same problem but it doesn't work for me
0 MTA Team ccw Posted January 3, 2014 MTA Team Posted January 3, 2014 Please download and run MTADiag and follow the instructions. If MTADiag doesn't launch, please install Visual C++ 2012 runtimes (download and install vcredist_x86.exe) and try again.
