Creating a server problem/ renting a server?

I can create a server and it shows up in the ASE and i can connect but no-one else can. Their machines just says disconnected and mine says they timed out.

I have a 1mb connections, should this be enough for say 10 players?

Also, how do some people have 100mbit servers? Can I rent a server on the web of what?

Your connection may not be so great for a server at home but I don't know what the problem is

As far as renting servers it's easy and a great idea. You will get webspace a forum and a stable server for not a lot of money.

I don't know how you read that page but you can pay as much as 125 per month for a 20 ppl public and 70 for another server but..

The KFC 16player private server runs great... Give out the pass to whoever you want it's listed on ASE and it cost $35.00 per month you can also pay as little as $25.00 for 12 I think

Plus they sponsor this site and the Official servers free of charge so not only are they experienced with this game it's also a nice way to say thanks for helping the MTA mod

I don't pay for that server KFC DJDC does just for full disclosure but they are helpful and easy to deal with.

Ah yeah. The exchange rate between £ and $ keeps going up, but it's fairly cheap for Brits and extremely cheap for those in Europe.
