Start map on server?

I am a scriptwriter/ admin on an rp server and am having troubles adding in the mapping i do for it. I can't get a hold of the server owner for help at this time so i figured i would come to the experts. I have added the map to the resources folder with all the other maps but i can't seem to actually get it to show in the server. I have tried rebooting the server and /startres with the name of the map. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are running on a ug script for the rp i think

put the map folder in the directory server\mods\deathmatch\resurces. Whe in-game type in tha main chat /start yourmapname
