attack and wanted level

hi i made this function to increase the wanted level.. ho do i make it doesnt get higher every hit?

function attackNoWanted ( attacker, attackerweapon, bodypart, loss ) 
if attacker and getElementType(attacker) == "player" then 
   local WLa = getPlayerWantedLevel( attacker ) 
   local WLb = getPlayerWantedLevel( source ) 
    if  ( WLb == 0 ) then 
     if ( WLa < 6 ) then 
     setPlayerWantedLevel (attacker, WLa + 1) 
     end 
    end 
 end    
end 
addEventHandler ("onPlayerDamage", getRootElement(), attackNoWanted)

onPlayerDamage gets triggered on every hit so the wanted level is incremented on each hit. You can use onPlayerWasted to only increment wanted level on wasted.
