Infinate
Hello, Today I got a message asking if I wanted to update MTA to the newest version. So I clicked yes. After the update I've been having a strange issue. I couldn't launch MTA anymore. When I launched it, I got the intro image with the "Stop playing with yourself" text. And then, it would just hang there, untill finally it disappears and I get the following message: "GTA: San Andreas may not have launched correctly. Do you want to terminate it?" Some info about my system: Windows 7 SP1 GTX680 16 gigs of ram intel 2500k (Latest drivers installed on everything) GTA San Andreas 3.0 (Steam version) <-- I'm thinking this could be the cause. So, I decided to downgrade my MTA, here are my findings: mtasa-1.3.1-rc-4939-20130117.exe <-- Doesn't launch. mtasa-1.3.1-rc-4938-20130117.exe <-- Doesn't launch. mtasa-1.3.1-rc-4936-20130117.exe <-- Launches perfect. (And so do all previous versions). I hope this issue could be fixed soon, otherwise I won't be able to play MTA's future versions. Also, I've been noticing another issue lately ever since I updated my drivers to GeForce 310.90, I am getting crashes, These happen when I minimize MTA, and then decide to maximize it again (Full screen), when playing in windowed mode, this doesn't happen. I'll try to get some crash dumps. Link to comment
0 Infinate
Try using MTADiag Genius idea! It just updates my MTA to the latest version, which means I won't be able to launch MTA anymore. Link to comment
0 Baseplate
It asks after you update if it worked or not. if it didn't press n and it will copy a pastebin to your clipboard. So please just be more patient next time. Link to comment
0 Towncivilian
Enter 'n' when asked if MTA works now and continue to follow the instructions. Link to comment
