Players can not browse! Port 22003 UDP is closed. Players can not join! Port 22005 TCP is closed . Players can not download! or Port 22126 UDP is open. Port 22003 UDP is open. Port 22005 TCP is open. But when it's say all is open my friends can't join! When i PF (PortForward) it, open only Port:22005! I'm downloaded SimlePortForward but with it is not funcion! I want to make a very much a play server with mods! Please Help Me! My MTA name is: Zoltan Link to comment
uhm
If it says ports are open, but they still can't join, then it's probably your firewall. Do you know how to allow the connections? Link to comment
baricz1
Hi! Sorry but i'm don't know how to allow connections! My firewall is off! Link to comment
baricz1
Yes i added to FireWall! i portforwarded it! and opened only tcp port! Link to comment
uhm
Wait, what does the server window say when you type openports? Because I believe the traffic is UDP, not TCP Port 22003 UDP is the most important one, that allows your friends to connect. Is that one forwarded and allowed in firewall? Link to comment
baricz1
When i type openports the wondow say : port 22126 closed port 22003 closed port 22005 open! And i dont know how to open the 22126 and 22003 ports! I forward but it's not open it! I have Forwarded all port but the console say: port 22126 closed port 22003 closed port 22005 open! Sometime say all is open but my friends can't join! IDK how to open all ports and how to function it? All ports are allowed on firewall! Look now the console say all is open! I'm telld to my friend but he can't found my server! Link to comment
uhm
Issue solved over PM. The problem was that baricz had a dynamic internal IP address with a lease time of about a day. This means that the next day, his internal IP address would likely change and therefore the forwarding was undone. This resolves the off issue that the console "sometimes" says that all the ports are forwarded. Also he had been providing that very same local IP address to his friends. Using the steps on the following page, he had assigned himself a static IP address: http://blog.mclaughlinsoftware.com/2009 ... static-ip/ In his case, he had to change the settings (in step 5) to: IP address 192.168.0.124 Default gateway 192.168.0.1 Preferred DNS: 8.8.8.8 Then, he had forwarded the ports again to the local IP address used in the configuration (in this case 192.168.0.124). After, by visiting http://whatismyip.com/, he was able to retrieve his external IP-address for exchange with friends. Link to comment
