Hello.

I'm having troubles with doing the following;

I make a list of values:

local values = {"one", "two", "three"}

And I wanna make an if statement that checks if a value is having one of the values setted before, something like this:

if(value == values) then
outputChatBox("Found matching")
end

Posted
for i = 1, #values do
    if ( value == values[ i ] ) then
        outputChatBox( 'Found matching' )
    end
end

local values = { "one", "two", "three" }

for _, value_ in ipairs ( values ) do
    if ( value == value_ ) then
        outputChatBox ( 'Found matching' )
        break
    end
end
