I've been playing MTA for a long time now but recently I had to re-install Windows 7 (same as previous, used some recovery CDs) so I had to install GTA SA and MTA all again. I used to play in the lowest or second to lowest resolution on fullscreen (15.6" 16:9 display) and the image wasn't 'stretched' to the sides, it was like a square, with blackness on the far sides of my screen (like watching an old youtube video on full screen, hope you get the idea). So, I was trying to set my fresh installed MTA just the way it used to be but I can't find a way to not 'stretch' the image and I hate it that way and also makes me lag. I've gone all over the settings options but I just can't. One thing I should mention is that when I change the 'Aspect Ratio' option it does nothing, image stays the same. Maybe that's the problem? Could it be the new update? Thanks in advance.
