Request for Community Moderation privileges.

I would like to become a moderator or any file management level member for the community to clean and remove the amount of clutter and waste currently being hosted. It frustrates me to try and find anything worthwhile when I have to sort through a mass of crappy files. I'm sure many others will agree we have too much crap. Perhaps community could even be replaced with an existing project for file hosting and management thus eliminating the need for a completely custom system.

While I do agree, the issue at the moment is our current community center is outdated, and we've been looking to replace it entirely. The other issue is that we never integrated a proper moderation system - it's all or nothing. In other words, you're either a standard user, or Robert Mugabe.

I'll see if something can be arranged though, i do think we could do with a pair of hands there.

How come the community never even got a moderation system? It's been like ummm... 5 years Since it was created? Not trying to act like a smartass-pro-PHP-coder or whatever, it just gets my attention...

Whatever. I hope you will be able to do something about it, it really needs some attention since it's one of the most visited MTA sections (or it should be, by obvious reasons).

Pai, I can't speak for the MTA Team, but I sincerely doubt the fact that they would ever (and I mean ever) give you moderation rights on the community.

They've been looking to replace it entirely, this doesn't mean that they are actually working on a new community... they should hire Aibo for a sexy design.
