SM xenex Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 Is your OS WIN 9X or ME ? MTA will NOT work on them, or maybe its your firewall, have you allowed MTA conection to the internet?if not you should.

Guest Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 Thanks that seems to have gotten rid of it but now its telling me a new problem... I either get a "wrong version" or "program has been modified" (something like that)...?
SM xenex Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 ok Incompatible version means that the server you are trying to get into isnt using the same version as your client,btw a new pacth has been released MTA:VC 0.2.2, you might want to download it if you have not already, and just try another server , CRc check failed,some or all of your game files have been modified means , that you either have a car mod or that your speed has been changed, just reinstall and it should work, and if you do have modded cars and still want them, make 2 folders one for online play and one for offline play.
