Guest
hi im new to mta:vc, and i am stuck on creating a lan server. i have two comps on LAN, and i host a server on one of them, then try to join that server on both. However it gives me a server timeout error. When i create the server (i know how to), it for some reason resets my game ip to 0.0.0.0, despite the fact that it is set to 192.168.2.2. I try to join on the 192.168.2.2 ip and it gives me the timeout error . trying to join on the 0.0.0.0 does not work. Can someone help me please!? thanx your help appreciated Link to comment

Aba|)|)on
whoever told you the loopback address is 192.168.0.1 is a idiot who doesnt know what he is talking about, its 127.0.0.1.(192...... is just the windows default ip for home networking , plus any ip address of 192.168.x.x will not be routed over the intenet) Link to comment
