Slifer Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) Normally you can Choose your Directory in the Install if you just Skip all then it should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas if you can't see it there then find your GTA Icon and Right Click on it. Then click on " Open File Location " and you'll find it. It Could also be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Mta Should be Also in C:\Program Files "(x86)" or Right Click on the MTA Sa Icon and "Open File Location" Edited March 13, 2012 by Guest

I vave messed up registry with MTA installations in varous locations so I am asking for help.... It may be installed in "c:/pornography" .... I wanna get the location from registry...

Slifer Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 By " Patch " do you mean MTA? if yes MTA Should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Multi Theft Auto i think. i've installed My MTA into a Folder on my Desktop so i don't really know now , if you are using Windows 7 Go to C:\Program Files (x86) and write on the " Search Control Panel " in the Right Corner " MTA " And you should find it.

EDIT: It's in " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Rockstar Games " or in " My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Rockstar Games\ "

Towncivilian Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 MTA's path can be found in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas All (if you're running 64-bit, it'd be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas All), in the specific version subkey, value Last Install Location. MTA also keeps GTA's current path in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas All\Common\GTA:SA Path. I believe there is a -serial switch for Multi Theft Auto.exe to output your serial.

Impossible. Client has nothing to do with server, that means MTA:SA source code doesn't hack server-side things.

diegofkda Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 No. Client can't 'hack' unless your client has the enough access, and for that access the server has to allow you, actually only an admin from a default ACL list should be able to hack a server. Don't give admin rights to everyone.
