'an instance of mta is already running'

Hey,

I installed MTA and GTA SA on this 'new' laptop. Its the same one i previously ran it on before i deleted all and reinstalled to come back after my ban. Though, this time - whenever i try to open MTA it pops up with an 'another instance of MTA is already running' when its not. Can't see anything in the task manager either.

Go to the Task Manager and then go to the "Processes" Tab search for "gta_sa.exe" and click on it. Then Click " End Process"

and see if it works.

Also if you have SAMP close it. or Better un install it!

Many thanks. There was 3 MTA's open so I closed those and uninstalled SAMP. The GTA.exe wouldn't let me close it, so I restarted the computer. Seems to have fixed it.
