Axel Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 So till today my server worked perfectly, players could join, play, etc. Today when i tryed it, players couldn't connect. I tested the ports and: Port 22126 UDP is closed.Players cannot browse! Port 22003 UDP is closed.Players cannot join! Port 22005 TCP is closed.Players cannot browse! Some ideas/suggestions what it can be?
-ffs-Sniper Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Your router or Windows firewall, you must open those ports. (How to do that depends on your router model)
-ffs-Sniper Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 It worked before, so isn't that... Research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing. This problem is only caused by firewalls blocking the ports mentioned above. To be on the safe side download the latest nightly from https://nightly.multitheftauto.com! As I already said, turn of your Windows Firewall and check port forwarding in your router. What are you hosting at (Home, Dedicated, VPS, Shared)? I guessed you're hosting it at home.
JTBondrew Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Can anyone suggest anything on how to port forward? Ive been having a bit of trouble doing it. Firewalls disabled, Supposedly ports forwarded, however its still saying the three ports are closed? and yes i am hosting, well trying to, from home.
