Need help finding out the Lights.

Hi i have been looking all over the wiki, im trying to find were i can implement a scrip for custom lighting. What i mean is on the VG MTA server, they have a x-mas tree with custom lighting. im not asking for coding help, i was just hopeing that maybe someone could give me a couple links on the wiki, or to a tutorial to help me start figuring this out. I have been all over the wiki, and i could really appreciate some help getting this started.
