Daniel Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Does anybody know where the download link is for the Lua Complier or can somebody upload one?
Castillo Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Take a look in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=91&t=31891 There are many LUA compilers.
Daniel Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 Does anybody have this complier viewtopic.php?f=108&t=33905 I need that one.
Castillo Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Yes, I do, here's a download link: http://www.mediafire.com/?5et60em7mog3yms
Castillo Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 CapY, I use it and I have no problems, maybe you don't know how to use it .
Daniel Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 When I add a file and click on complie i clicked on both of them for (diffrent things)and it did not complie the code it just renamed the code to Scriptname.bak
Castillo Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Check if you script has errors, if it does, the compiler won't compile it. P.S: Also check if the encoding is UTF-8, if it is, then set it to UTF-8 without BOM.
CapY Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Make sure your client code is placed on desktop.
CapY Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Why CapY? I have an issue if my client side is not on the desktop, compiler won't compile it.
Castillo Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 With this compiler? because I don't have such issue.
unknooooown Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Yes, with this compiler.Well, i do. Try doing it right.
^Dev-PoinT^ Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Make a New Folder on Drive C: and put the compiler and make sure you script is without BOM and click right on it and run with adminstrator and compile your Files
CapY Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Yes, with this compiler.Well, i do. Try doing it right. Eh, what's that supposted to mean ?
AGENT_STEELMEAT Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Eh, what's that supposted to mean ? You don't know how to use a basic command line / write a simple .bat file to do the work for you. It's not the compiler's fault, since almost everyone is using the same compiler (luac).

BTW, Nextreme's method is better anyway.
AGENT_STEELMEAT Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Well, i have lots of things on my PC and it causes crash sometimes. If a simple console application causes your computer to crash, you have bigger issues than your ignorance.
