High FPS Issue

Benevolence

Question

Posted

So I noticed that when I try to toggle the sirens on a emergency vehicle, I have to spam the button to turn it on/off for example in a LSPD Cruiser. I was told it was due to high FPS which the server recently allowed, I run on about 75 fps average on this computer right now. How can I "fix" this issue, because I am a cop in a roleplay server and it's hard to toggle the sirens when I need to use them, it's VERY annoying.

This also occurs in single-player GTA:SA with the frame limiter off. I don't think there's a fix. Swimming is also slower (at least in SP).

Oh wow, I noticed that too about the swimming. Sucks theres nothing I can do..

For that you should create a timer, if isElementOnWater ( getLocalPlayer() then setGameSpeed ( 2 ) end something like that...

And for the cop sirens, you can always script a resource that turns on and off the sirens with pressing a key, the function for turn on / off the sirens is setVehicleSirensOn.

I agree that's annoying for servers you're not owning, and it's completely fixable for the team.
