I have read this and tried all of the possible solutions, though nothing seems to be helping.

I assume you have updated DirectX runtimes and installed the latest nightly of MTA:SA, correct?

What version of GTA:SA do you have? Did you purchase it on Steam?

GTA:SA 1.0? HOODLUM EXE? Does GTA:SA single player work fine?

Single player works fine.

I'm not sure how to check the GTA: SA version.

MTA did work in the past , but for some reason it just stopped opening on clicking it.

EDIT: I found a file that says "hoodlum.nfo"
