I want to recover this menu

Is it possible to get this menu theme for MTA 1.1.1. ? I really want it back, it's the best theme.

That menu was a nice feature indeed, but it was unstable as hell. By far not all players were able to use it, and thus this menu got removed a LONG time ago. It's planned to be re implemented for 1.3, so that will take a while.

I remember the old menu, it was all about getting in a server as soon as possible and hitting ESC to get the static image going. I could barely get my cursor steady at the browser link . Today it wouldn't be a problem for me, but many people are still on slow computers. It is really cool indeed, but if it was to be reimplemented there should be considered some kind of "Disable fancy menu?" prompt if it detects low framerate or similar.

I don't think so much time should be put into a main menu, though it is part of the first imperssions the 1.1 one looks great, professional whereas when playing it is common for clients to crash every day which is the biggest problem for MTA players in my opinion. Mods always have stability issues so to overcome this would be a great step forward in my view. I can't imagine playing without all the stability updates ccw has done over the past 2 years for MTA SA.

I think that there should be an option in the menu to choose which one do you want it.

I agree, I have never experienced that menu and I have only seen it in videos twice (in the history of mta to 1.1 video and the video above) and it would be great to see it again. Perhaps say "Disable fancy menu?" with a "dont ask again" button when mta starts, and the option is toggeleable in the settings GUI
