Hey all, if there any function that checks if ANY gui windows are open?

Nope. but you could loop all gui elements and do guigetvisible

function isWindowShowing() 
    local lol = false 
    for i,v in pairs(getElementsByType("gui-window")) end  
      if guiGetVisible(v)==true then 
             lol = true 
       end 
    end 
end
