[HELP] MTA:SA MAP EDITOR

Hey guys, thanks for passing by, im having problems oppening the maps I have already created. When I press the ''Open'' key on top of the map editor screen, only about 10 of my 40 maps appear. When I go see in my Resourses folder, I see that all my previusely saved maps are there. Why dosent MTA recognise them?

Does your maps have an empty space betwen names? Like this "my map"? If they do MTA can't recognize them. Try with "my_map".

Thank for the quick reply but unfortunately it has not.. Here is an example of one of the maps name : GareNLRPv1.2

Start MTA Server.exe and run the command: refresh

It may then output reasons why these maps aren't showing up. They may not have a valid meta.xml

It brang up all the maps saying ** WARNING: Not loading resource 'GareNLRPv1.2 as it contains illegal caracters. ** What are they?

And if there are, How do I do to change the maps name withouht loosing my map?

Remove the dot from the folder name.

"GareNLRPv1.2" => "GareNLRPv1_2"

Always keep map names simple, usually people won't see them anyway on the servers.

Why would changing the folder name make you lose them? Just change the "." in them.
