What happened to the map editor?

I've noticed that when moving objects about in the map editor, when you're moving them slowly (Holding alt+arrow keys), it's not as smooth anymore, and the objects tend to move up/down slightly and do like a zig-zag movement, whereas on 1.0.5 it used to be smooth and moved in the direction you wanted it to, depending on the angle of the camera.

What happened?
