Hello everyone. For the past few weeks, I've had to look at an ugly version of MTA and I'm not sure what the problem could be.
Here's some examples of what I mean (excuse the giant pictures; I snapped them off of my desktop):
Transparency: Whenever anything on the map is transparent, a border with the current color of the sky will surround it. Darkness: No matter where darkness is, it will always be in a lighter color. Sky: This is especially noticeable at night. The sky will resemble something from and old Atari game and doesn't change depending on the view. Lighting: The light is more noticeable by showing its rings (how do I describe this...IT'S BAD). Textures in general: This shows off the different gradients on the textures themselves.
Does anyone know what the problem could be? My guess is that it's stuck in 256-colors mode. I'm also running this in an 800 x 600 x 16 window (because full-screen keeps crashing on me) with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 430.
