  • Delete the gta_sa.set file located in the GTA San Andreas User Files in your Documents folder/library (Windows Vista and 7 users) or My Documents directory (Windows XP users)
  • Check in your GTA San Andreas installation directory for a D3D9.dll. If one is present, delete it.
  • Install the latest patch of MTA:SA
  • Install the latest DirectX runtimes

In addition, your laptop's graphics card is very slow and ancient. Try installing this driver and see if GTA:SA will launch. If it doesn't, your laptop is simply too dated to play even GTA:SA single player, sorry.

I deleted the gta_sa.set file and tried starting GTA: San Andreas, nothing happened.

I checked my GTA San Andreas Installation directory for a D3D9.dll, wasn't there.

I have the latest patch of MTA: SA.

I installed the latest DirectX runtimes.

I tried installing that driver, but it said my Operating System is incompatible. GTA: SA worked for me when i had XP, but I cant find the installation disk, anywhere.
