NPCs

Is there any way to make the game spawn its normal NPCs? I have been hosting a server for my friends, but they all wish there were pedestrians and NPC drivers. I know there is a command to spawn a specific NPC, but I'm wondering if there is a way to get NPCs to spawn automatically.

Nope, there isn't, not natively.

There's been a few attempts at doing this, the "traffic" resource for one (which has been taken down).

It's doable by scripting, but no-one's given it a try recently. It's a huge project, but will be greatly used.
