[HELP] Update Problem

Hi,

I downloaded MTA 1.0.5 and I have been playing on a cops and robber server, anyways to keep playing on this server i had to update my MTA (build 2560) but while I install it it stops and say "Error due to file conflict, please close other application". But there is no other application open, I tried everything but couldn't do it.

Please help me.

CIT CnR/RP? We require build 2560+ for security reasons.

Sounds like an odd error, are you sure MTA isn't running? Open task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) go to processes tab and check to make sure there is no gta_sa.exe, Multi Theft Auto.exe or MTA Server.exe running. Apart from that I'm clueless but I'm sure that the more experienced members of the forum will know more about this.
