Setting my Hosted Server up and ready.

Ohai Thar, I Recently got a Server. (Fully hosted, 20-slot). It's Online. But how do I give myself admin rights?

It's Hosted by Trueserve, and the Panel on their site Give These options:

Files | FTP details | MySQL | Renew | Sub Users | update | Support

Now i Used Filezilla to edit stuff. Changed the ACL.XML using notepad++ But then it Doesn't wanna upload.

Also, I didn't see anything to give myself rights.

I know this may sounds very stupid for advanced users, But éh? Everyone gotta start.

Feel free to ask extra information if you need it.

And Yes, I used Google.

Go on your server and create an account with /register

If /register doesn't work you need to start admin if you have access to a command line of the console you can do "start admin" or add it to the startup list and restart the server

You need to stop the server while you edit the ACL.xml and add yourself as admin and upload the new copy of it to your server, then start the server and it will read the new ACL.

Nope, still getting an Error when saving & Uploading the ACL. (553 error Transfer error)

Contact Trueserve support, they're the ones who are responsible for your FTP.
