Forced to stay with MTA:Race ?

Hello.

For a very long time, i have tried upgrading to mta:sa - but there is always the same problem..

When ever i try to navigate in the GUI in the map editor and move the mouse 1 cm, it goes like 300 pixels in that direction

When trying to move (also in the map editor), i move so fast the game usually crashes or lag like hell - in less than 3 seconds i have moved from the docks in LS to the northest edge of LV, watching the sea

Any possible solution? - Turning the frame limiter on makes the game go so slow, it looks like it hang itself

I wish it could be like Race, it works most of the time, but not on my laptop...

Forgot to say that i've visited the topic here: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtopic.php?f=104&t=31668

Ok, result:

* Graphics driver - Installed

* Audio driver - Installed (Eh, how can it make a difference as i have set the Sound Blaster to be used instead?)

* Latest mouse driver - That literally kills the connection between the mouse and the pc - I have re-installed the old version

* Ethernet driver - Eh? - that's not for my OS?

* SPTD driver used by Daemon Tools - Installed

* Latest DirectX runtimes - Installed

* Latest patch of MTA:SA - installed

Yet, mta refuses to work

My apologies for the wrong Ethernet driver. Try this one.

I know you have your X-Fi as your primary sound card, but you still have the Realtek onboard codec enabled, may as well update its driver.

Hmm, I really don't know what to do about your mouse. Does everything work fine in single player?

Yes, it works very well in any game/software

And the general navigation works, but when i try to move or look around, it's still bugged [with that new Ethernet driver]

Btw: do you have any idea how frustrating it is to use the mouse keys? - it was my solution when reinstalling the old mouse driver...

This is only in map editor?

Go into the options (if you can) and lower the sensitivity. You might wana check MTA and or GTA incase you've got too high sensitivity there incase you haven't checked.
