1) I noticed a brake axis and acceleration axis feature in MTA:SA, but it doesn't seem to work with my XBCD 360 setup for the USB Xbox 360 Controller. I have the Z- axis bound to my left trigger and the RZ- axis to my right trigger, but MTA:SA refuses to react to these even though they react naturally in Windows. Is there any way to manually edit the configuration file to "force feed" MTA:SA the axes, under the possibility that a brute force solution would work even if the configuration menu doesn't accept them? Is there any tutorial out there for setting the brake/acceleration axes in MTA:SA?
[edit]Upon the recommendation of someone in the IRC channel, I rolled back to the stock Xbox 360 Controller for Windows drivers and it works based on having the Z- axis as the brake (left trigger) and the Z+ axis as the accelerator (right trigger). I'll see if I can get it working with the XBCD driver as well.
2) I mostly got MTA:SA for the map editing features, but then found out that there's no single-player mode; I sort of figured MTA:SA would be intended to add in the option of playing in multiplayer. Are there any plans to reconcile the two so the added features (1920x1080 res, brake/acceleration axis, modified maps, etc.) can be used to enjoy the single-player story mode too?
