You need it if you do server on your computer I know what my ip is but when I enter it in in the configuration file it doesnt wanna open the server. But when I leave the space blank it works just not on the Internet. Link to comment

As long as your ports are open, everyone else will see it in their internet tab. Use the server console command openports to check port openness.
