Open ports for MTA Ubuntu

hello, well, i have downloaded linux binary server (compiled), because i tried to compile it, and it fails, so i runned mta server (binary downoad) and it runs as server but in the LAN only, for the internet it doesn't work. I also check if the port is open with a portchecker and it says the port is closed, i also configured the router for this purpose, and I don't know how to turn the server on for the interne. I'm using ubuntu 10.04 for this, i'll thank your help

i bet you configured your router wrong. can you post some screenshots?
